According to Successful Dealer magazine, the Environmental Protection Agency has “… filed a proposal with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget to repeal the ‘emission requirements for glider vehicles, glider engines, and glider kits.’” This action repeals the section of EPA Phase 2 that would have limited glider construction to repair and replacement only. As such, major glider builders like Fitzgerald and Harrison can continue to build completed gliders with EPA ’98 engines for sale to the public.

The ATD/NADA Official Commercial Truck Guide has included retail, loan, and wholesale values for selected makes and models of glider kits since early last year. We look forward to monitoring this segment of the market and expanding our content.
