Pricing for our benchmark group of the three most common sleeper tractors selling through the nation’s two largest, no-reserve auction companies looks to be holding steady. We estimate volume will be higher this month than last - not quite up to levels seen the fourth quarter of last year, but on a level commensurate with the increased number of auctions held in March vs. February.

With a half-dozen auctions still left on the March calendar, there is downside pressure to pricing. But the fact that there has been little to no depreciation in the past 10 weeks is evidence that the steepest devaluation is behind us. See graphs below for detail.

Stay tuned for final March auction results in early April.
