Used Price Update: Wholesale Prices Remain Unchanged Mid-Month

After increasing by 0.3% on a prior month basis in December, wholesale prices for used vehicles up to eight years in age remain unchanged through the first half of January. This month’s preliminary results are right in line with NADA’s forecast and also what’s typically recorded during January. Looking back to the same period from 2012 through 2014, previous price movement fell within a range of -0.4% to 0.2%.

Running all this week in Las Vegas, the Consumer Electronics Show has already produced debuts of several automotive technologies. Hyundai's most recent unveil allows you to control certain aspects of your car via an Android powered smartwatch. The app will allow the user to do things like, locate their car, lock/unlock the doors, start the engine and more. Tech site The Verge sums the features up in the YouTube video below.

Reviewed: 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander

The Outlander comes in four trim levels, starting with the ES and SE in two-wheel drive setups, with all-wheel drive versions of the two trim levels serving as additional models.

The SE model featured in this review came with the Premium Package, a $2,600 option. For that price you get a host of upgrades, including  a glass sunroof, leather seating, 710 watt Rockford Fosgate sound system (with 10 inch subwoofer), satellite radio, power driver’s seat, power remote tailgate and wood-like interior trim panels.
