All 911’s Will Be Turbocharged

According to Car Magazine, Porsche will use turbos on all 911’s going forward.  Currently, only the 911 Turbo and Turbo S are turbocharged, but as part of a mid-cycle refresh this will expand to the Carrera and Carrera S lines as well. The current 3.4L would be replaced with a 2.9L turbo that could produce 400hp in the Carrera.  The Carrera S would keep the 3.8L and add a turbo and could generate 530hp.


Cadillac is Packing its Bags and Heading to SoHo

Can a move save Cadillac from its recent sales slump? General Motors sure hopes so as the automaker recently announced its plan to move its luxury brand headquarters from Detroit to New York City’s super posh SoHo neighborhood. The move is one of the first steps recently appointed Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen is taking in order to turn the brand into a stronger competitor in the luxury marketplace. October 16 1,000 Lamborghini Huracans Sold in the U.S. According to LamboCARS, of the 3000 Huracans sold worldwide, a third are from the U.S. market alone. This increase shatters previous records for U.S. consumers. In addition, Lamborghini expects to reach 3,600 sales worldwide in 2014, destroying last year's 2,121 units total. October 9 911 Carrera GTS Porsche has just released the new 2015 911 Carrera GTS. GTS models get the 430-horsepower version of the Carrera S' 3.8-liter flat-six with the Power kit, which also includes the Sport Chrono package and the sport exhaust. If equipped with the PDK dual-clutch transmission, the GTS will hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds. Wholesale Update: Used Vehicle Prices Down 3.4% in September

Used vehicle prices for units up to eight years in age are down by 3.4% so far this month, which is slightly higher than NADA’s 3% top-end forecast for the month. That said, the month’s decline remains in line with results of the past few years, as depreciation for September ranged between 2.5 – 3.6% from 2010 – 2013. If September’s figure holds, prices will have a dropped by an average of 3.2% per month since July and it would mark a streak of losses last seen in late-2011. Subaru Refuses to Slow Down, Boosts 2014 Forecast to 500K Units
