Next U.S. Bound Alfa Romeo
Automotive News, has confirmed that Alfa Romeo will be bringing a midsize sedan to the U.S. market next June. Alfa says the sedan will be position between the 3 and 5 series BMW sedans, similar to when the Cadillac CTS debuted a few years ago.

Chevy Captiva Sport Put Out to Pasture
Automotive News has reported that the Chevy Captiva, aka Saturn Vue, has finally been discontinued for the U.S. market. Porsche has just released the new 2015 911 Carrera GTS. GTS models get the 430-horsepower version of the Carrera S' 3.8-liter flat-six with the Power kit, which also includes the Sport Chrono package and the sport exhaust. If equipped with the PDK dual-clutch transmission, the GTS will hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds. According to Automotive News, buyers are spending about 2% more on cars than they did last year. This is mostly due to low interest rates and longer term loans. As an example, a 72-month, no-interest loan gives buyers who want to keep their payment at $500 a month the ability to spend $6,000 more than with a 60-month loan. Furthermore, it allows for spending $4,800 more for those who think they can afford $400 a month.
