ATS-V to Debut at LA Auto Show

Cadillac confirms to LA Times that they will be unveiling the new ATS-V at the LA Auto Show.


SL Benz Just Got Less Expensive

Carbuzz is reporting that Mercedes will introduce the SL400 for 2015. This new model will save you over $20,000 from the SL550.  This is done through the use of a 3.0L twin turbo V6, instead of the V8. This new engine still puts out 329hp and 354 lb-ft torque and will propel the car to 60mph in just 5.1 seconds. So save the money and get the SL400 one if you are in the market.

Diamler Could Purchase Aston Martin and MV Agusta

According to Car and Driver, Diamler which already owns Mercedes, Smart, Freightliner, and Maybach, could be in position to acquire MV Agusta and Aston Martin.  The move is likely in response to VW/Audi’s portfolio which now includes: Ducati, Bentley, and Lamborghini.


Mercedes Benz M-Class to be Renamed GLE

Mercedes has announced that they will be adjusting their nomenclature. First up is the M-Class which will become the GLE.

8th Gen Golf Coming in 2017

The 7th Gen Golf just was released; however, it appears that VW is already prepping for the next version. According to Carbuzz, the next Golf will have a wider and lower stance along with a new front end design. However, it’ll still ride on the same MQB modular platform.

Could There Be A MazdaSpeed2 In Our Future??

With the new great looking Mazda2 coming out, there are rumors that a MazdaSpeed2 could be in the works.  Carbuzz is reporting that this rumor could indeed become a reality. Mazda’s global sales and marketing general manager told the publication that "One of the challenges we (Mazda) are currently considering is how to maintain the product competitiveness throughout the lifecycle. For some markets a sportier version would work."
