Ford Transit Paddy Wagon

Ford has released its new prisoner transport concept based on the Transit. The vehicle offers the ability to carry as many as 12 prisoners in 3 different compartments. Hopefully you will never have to ride in one.

2015 C63 AMG and AMG S

Carbuzz has the details on the new C63. The C63 produces 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, while the S model delivers 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The car makes the 0-62 mph sprint in just 4.1 seconds. No 4Matic system is available on the C AMG cars.

Cadillac has announced that they are breaking off the flagship brand as a separate business unit and moving its corporate headquarters to New York City.


A Classic Never Dies

Volkswagen announced that the limited-edition Beetle Classic model will go on sale this week, starting at $20,195 for the 1.8T Coupe. Currently, this is the lowest priced model in the Beetle lineup, starting nearly $1500 lower than the Beetle 1.8T automatic. The Classic trim features 17-inch “Heritage” aluminum-alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped shifter knob and handbrake lever, navigation system, a multifunction steering wheel, two-tone brown leatherette and checked cloth seating surfaces, comfort front seats with driver’s side lumbar support, and a six-speed automatic transmission. The car is available in three colors—Pure White, Black Uni, and Reflex Silver—and has an understated retro look inside and out.

CR-V Update

Honda has officially debuted the refreshed 2015 CR-V.   A new front end is an improvement over the previous version of this high volume selling CUV.  The CR-V goes on sale October 1st at your local Honda dealer.


MPG Numbers for Colorado and Canyon

General Motors has released the official fuel economy numbers for the Colorado and Canyon. These vehicles when equipped with the 2.5L 4 cyl engine and 4WD will achieve an EPA rating of 19 city and 25 highway, for a combined 21 mpg.
