Hyundai has announced it will debut the all-new sixth generation Elantra compact vehicle this November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The company has released a teaser sketch of the 2017 model year vehicle, which appears to bring the exterior appearance up a notch. Dare we say it looks like a baby Genesis with its hexagonal grille, reworked hood, and updated headlights with LED daytime running lights?

Hyundai has not released pricing or packaging information (we expect that information very early next spring, shortly before the vehicle goes on sale), but if the company stays true to its packaging philosophy, the vehicle will drive a hard bargain for shoppers (and be a sales success for dealers). We were impressed with the previous generation, and speculate there will be few trim levels, with an increasing amount of technology and amenities as standard in the 2017 model.
