At last year’s North American International Auto Show, Lincoln shocked the press corps with their Continental Concept. Hopes have been high for the premium marque as Lincoln looks to re-establish itself as a luxury contender. The 2017 Lincoln Continental was revealed this past week at this year’s show, amplifying the flagship’s 2015 debut buzz.

The Continental is powered by a turbocharged V6, which delivers 400 horsepower. Accompanied by available all-wheel-drive, the powertrain was developed to deliver smooth quiet power in all situations.

The interior boasts Lincoln’s new Perfect Position Seats, which allow for 30 ways of adjustability with the intention of offering optimal comfort. On the outside of the full-size sedan, Lincoln’s new signature grill (which features dozens of Lincoln logos) adds some design cred, while still delivering an athletic profile. Vault-like door handles are integrated into the window trim and provide a unique, seamless flow to the side sills of the vehicle.

Lincoln certainly has its work cut out to regain its standing as dominate premium luxury nameplate. If the vehicle drives as well as it looks, the luxury sedan might just be ready to take on the task.
