The SRX was the last of Cadillac’s models to receive a design revamp. The luxury midsize crossover, now known as the XT5, is more spacious, lighter and has adopted the brand’s bold new styling. Despite all the changes, the folks over at Cadillac have announced pricing for the XT5, and it remains similar to the outgoing model. Starting at $39,990, including destination, the XT5 features a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 310 horsepower and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but buyers will have the option to select an all-wheel drive variant. Pricing is competitive in the luxury mid-size crossover segment, which includes the likes of the BMW X3 ($40,495), Lexus RX 350 ($42,850), Audi Q5 ($40,900), and the Mercedes GLE ($39,875). Look for the 2017 XT5 to be available at dealerships in early April of this year.
