Ford Increases All-New F-150 Price by Only $400… Well, Sort Of

F-Series fans enthusiastically awaiting pricing information on the all-new aluminum body 2015 Ford F-150 can rest easy. Officials for the automaker just announced that the bottom line of the popular half-ton is going to grow by only $400, but that’s not where the story ends. While the prices of entry-level XL and XLT trims are slated to increase by only a couple hundred dollars, top of the line versions will see prices increase by as much as $3,600. August 1 Infiniti’s Battle Plan Automotive News has reported Infiniti’s future plans.  The manufacturer will produce a performance-engine-powered four-door coupe in 2017 or 2018. They will make an electric sedan, based on the Nissan Leaf. The G37 sedan will continue to soldier on as the Q40.  The compact Q30 hatch will be imported from Sunderland, England, in early 2016 and its sibling, the QX30 crossover version, half a year later. GM Orders Sales Halt of the Cadillac CTS and SRX

  The recall storm cloud hanging over GM’s head continues to grow as the automaker recently ordered Cadillac dealers to stop selling its popular CTS and SRX models because it does not have a fix yet for the 554,000 cars recalled in late June. The most recent Cadillac recall is over an issue where engines can be shut off if the driver’s knee bumps the ignition key. FJ Cruiser Heading toward Strong Finish to its Product Lifecycle

Since its introduction in 2006, the FJ Cruiser has been Toyota’s version of a fun, rugged, retro-styled SUV, paying homage to the original Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers that first appeared in the 1960’s. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Dominates Sports Car Sales

  Chevrolet Corvette sales have been on fire since the brand introduced its completely redesigned C7 Stingray for the 2014 model year. Through June of this year Chevrolet has managed to sell 17,744 new Stingrays compared to 5,673 over the course of the same period in 2013, equating to a 213% increase in sales. To put the recent success of the Stingray into perspective, consider that through June of this year Porsche has only managed to sell 5,169 911s and SRT has only sold 354 Vipers.
