Lexus and Toyota Expected Reliability Tops Consumer Reports 2014 Survey

Consumer Reports just released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey, and the top two spots look very similar to 2013’s results with both Lexus and Toyota at the top of the list. Among other top contenders, Mazda improved its ranking by two spots relative to 2013 to land in third place, while Honda upgraded its ranking by four spots to secure fourth overall. Rounding out the top five spots, Audi slipped by one position compared to 2013, but still managed to secure the fifth spot overall. October 31 Big News Out of Mazda Motor Trend is reporting some big news from Mazda.  Plans for a Mazda6 coupe (rendering below) and a MazdaSpeed3, which will use a 2.5-liter Skyactiv turbocharged engine putting out 300 hp and incorporate a new all-wheel drive system.   October 30 BMW X5M and X6M According to BMW, the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M will start at an MSRP of $99,650 and $103,050 respectively. October 9 911 Carrera GTS Porsche has just released the new 2015 911 Carrera GTS. GTS models get the 430-horsepower version of the Carrera S' 3.8-liter flat-six with the Power kit, which also includes the Sport Chrono package and the sport exhaust. If equipped with the PDK dual-clutch transmission, the GTS will hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds.
